Location: Manchester, Stretford (M32 0ZH), office and warehouse

We're RunThrough. The UK's biggest running event company, and we're not slowing down. Every year we put on 300+ events, from iconic locations like Alton Towers and Hampton Court Palace to closing down entire town centres for race day. We've built a reputation for doing mass-participation running differently, and we're just getting started.
We believe in doing what we love, properly. That means a team that's genuinely obsessed with running and events, not just clocking in. We create solutions instead of excuses, we've got each other's backs, we build real relationships (with each other, our partners, our runners), and we're always looking for a better way to do things.
If you want a job that doesn't feel like a job, where weekends might mean a finish line instead of a lie-in, and where your ideas actually go somewhere, you'll fit right in.
Let's get moving!
Role Overview
If the kit isn't there, the event can't happen. As Logistics Manager North, you'll run logistics for our northern events from our Manchester warehouse, around 150 events across the North and North East and Midlands in 2027. You'll lead the warehouse team, own the packing lists and the rota, look after stock and the fleet, and buy what our events need. You'll sit in our new Supply team, reporting to the Head of Supply, and work closely with the Event Project Managers who own each event and the Workforce Manager who staffs them.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse and team
- Lead the northern warehouse team and set the standard for how kit is packed, loaded, returned and checked.
- Own the warehouse rota so every event is packed, loaded and unpacked on time — especially in the packing weeks either side of our busiest weekends.
- Keep the warehouse safe, organised and compliant.
Event kit
- Build and own the packing list for every event, working from each event's plan with its Event Project Manager.
- Make sure every event gets the infrastructure and equipment it needs, in the right condition, and that it all comes back accounted for.
Stock, fleet and purchasing
- Own stock control: what we have, where it is and what state it's in, with reorders placed before anything runs out.
- Plan and place orders for infrastructure and equipment, and negotiate with suppliers — working with our Procurement Manager once in post.
- Manage the fleet: vans, servicing, legal compliance and availability.
Working with the business
- Plan each event's logistics with its Event Project Manager well ahead of race day.
- Work with the Workforce Manager so warehouse staff are kept free of event work in the busiest packing weeks.
- Report on kit, stock, fleet and spend, and use the numbers to fix problems before they reach an event.
Improvement
- Improve our logistics systems and processes so they scale as events grow, alongside the Logistics Manager South.
What success looks like in your first year
- Every northern event has the right kit, in the right state, on time.
- Packing lists are accurate, and the warehouse runs to rota, busiest weeks included.
- Stock is known, cared for and reordered before it runs out, with less loss and damage.
- The fleet is safe, legal and available when it's needed.
- Purchasing is planned and good value.
