Purpose
To manage all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics for Red Bull Advanced Technologies. Ensure all parts and products are delivered to the various events in both the UK and abroad. Ensuring test team requirements and customer deliveries are planned and managed efficiently and on time.
To assist the wider business needs with exporting and importing documentation and creating processes and procedures inline with legal obligations for fleet management and future project needs.
Accountabilities
- To manage the creation & maintenance of the live Freight Schedules for RBAT
- To work with department Heads to prioritise critical parts to meet shipment deadlines
- To work alongside all members of the Parts & Logistics Team and Stores Department to manage and control stock of all parts when
- To work closely with the Test teams to realise and then expedite car and spares shortages whilst in the UK to minimise the need for shipments post the Teams departure to events
- To be lead in aspects of the Group's Health & Safety responsibilities, assisting in keeping the high standards expected, seeking help where necessary.
- To assist in the Parts & Logistics Group and Stores Departments including personnel and operational guidance.
- To develop maintain customer delivery processes and schedules.
- To manage and maintain RBAT’s fleet vehicles including its legal obligations to drivers and ownership
- Assist the Head of Parts Logistics & Stores with all events logistical movements being a point of contact out of office hours, working closely with the Parts Supply Hub, Parts & Logistics Coordinator, Transport Department, Production Control and the Race & Test Teams.
- Play an active role in the development of ongoing projects within the business liaising with all necessary areas of the business to push through to completion.
- Information conduit between factory and the Race Team Parts & Lifing Controllers
- To assist the Head of Parts Logistics & Stores in the retention of our Known Consignor Status, keeping records up to date, Quality Assurance records as directed via the Civil Aviation Authority. Take steps to improve and cement our processes liaising with various RBT / RBR departments making sure their duties are followed to the highest standards.
- To help drive performance through the Parts & Logistics Group & Stores Departments using the processes and tools available, assisting the Head of Parts Logistics & Stores where necessary.
- Work in conjunction with the Head of Parts Logistics & Stores in the development of the Parts & Logistics Group & Stores Departments team members to ensure that the team hold the skills and knowledge to be effective in their roles.

Additional Accountabilities
- Ensure that the highest standards of quality, Health and Safety commitment and behaviour are maintained throughout the Parts & Logistics Group and Stores Departments, and that all standing Company operating procedures are followed.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and tidy working environment, working within the groups COSHH guidelines and ensuring that all relevant Health and Safety requirements are met.
- To ensure that company policies and procedures are administered consistently, seeking advice where appropriate, e.g. holiday bookings, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role, and any specific requirements of your line and departmental management.
- To always work in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be proactive in promoting a positive image for the department / team / sponsors.
- To ensure that company policies and procedures are administered consistently, seeking advice where appropriate, e.g. holiday bookings, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Ensure that the highest standards of quality, Health and Safety commitment and behaviour are maintained throughout the Parts & Logistics Group and Stores Departments, and that all standing Company operating procedures are followed.
- To carry-out any other necessary factory-based duties as specified by the Head of Production, Supply Chain & Logistics.
