Atlas NextWave is supporting a leading international offshore services organisation in the search for a Logistics Operations Officer to join their Aberdeen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive logistics professional to support vessel operations and ensure the efficient movement of equipment and materials across international projects.

The Role

Working within a specialist asset and operations team, you will play a key role in coordinating shipping activities and ensuring timely delivery of equipment to vessels and offshore projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting internal departments with shipping and logistics requirements.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping agents and logistics providers in the UK and overseas.
  • Monitoring the progress of shipments and deliveries to vessels and operational locations.
  • Maintaining accurate logistics records and shipment documentation.
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and within project deadlines.
  • Providing administrative and operational support to the wider logistics function.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within logistics, shipping, freight forwarding or supply chain operations.
  • Experience coordinating international shipments and working with freight providers.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
