Location: Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire, OX18 3LX
Salary: £25,600.00 per annum plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Perm/FT/ 37 Hours per week

As a Logistics Operative in our RAF Brize Norton Logistics team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defence by ensuring essential materials and equipment are received, stored, managed, and distributed efficiently. Your work will directly contribute to operational readiness and the delivery of critical support services.
Working across warehouse, storage, and office environments, as well as making deliveries across site, you’ll be part of a modern Whole Force team alongside both Serco and RAF colleagues. Our work touches lives by supporting those who protect the UK, creating a positive impact through reliable and effective logistics services.
What you’ll do as a Logistics Operative
- Receive and issue stock, materials, and equipment to unit sections.
- Process deliveries from external contractors and internal unit sections.
- Maintain stock accuracy through effective storekeeping and stock control activities.
- Operate material handling equipment, including counterbalance forklifts where authorised.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain safe and efficient working areas.
- Support the movement and delivery of materials across the RAF Brize Norton site.
Does this sound like you?
- You hold a full UK Category B driving licence.
- You have experience working within a supply chain or logistics environment.
- You’re a team player who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
- You have basic IT skills and are comfortable using computer systems.
- You can obtain Security Check (SC) clearance and successfully complete the required colour perception test.

Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and the ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to successfully complete a colour perception test and an Occupational Health Questionnaire. UK residency requirements may apply depending on the level of security clearance required.
