Overview

Logistics Operative (Multiple Opportunities Available)
Humdinger Ltd, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25
Position type: Permanent Full-Time
Breaks: 3 x 20 minutes paid
Pay range: £13.82 per hour
Shift pattern: 12-hour rotating shifts (days 6am-6pm & nights 6pm-6am) with NO Friday night, Saturday day, Saturday night or Sunday day shift working.
Week 1: 3 day shifts, followed by 2 days off
Week 2: 3 night shifts, followed by 5 days off
Week 3: 2 day shifts + 2 night shifts, followed by 5 days off, then repeat
Closing date: 28/08/2026

Responsibilities

  • Move materials accurately between warehouse, production and packing departments.
  • Ensure stock is delivered to the correct location at the right time.
  • Complete stock checks, PIMA checks and stock investigations.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control.
  • Move finished goods from production lines to dispatch areas.
  • Report stock variances, hazards and operational concerns promptly.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience using warehouse management, ERP or stock control systems (SAP, Sage, QAD or similar).
  • Experience maintaining stock accuracy and stock control processes.
  • Experience transacting materials within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Confident using technology and computer-based systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • FLT licence (Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi, PPT or equivalent).
  • FMCG manufacturing experience.
