Job Vacancy

We are currently hiring for a Self-Employed Logistic Operative based at the JDT Wessex Operation in Sturminster Marshall, Dorset.

Key Responsibilities

In this self-employed contractor role, you will provide logistics and delivery support services to the Wessex operation.

  • Selecting, preparing, and loading materials for various sites.
  • Overseeing stores, equipment, and plant movement and management.
  • Understanding and complying with health and safety regulations relating to the delivery and moving of equipment.
  • Handling vehicle upkeep, completing daily checks, and ensuring safe driving at all times.
  • Offering Gas Team support and assisting with plant coordination.

Requirements

  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this position.
  • Proven self-employed contractor experience.
  • Understanding of safe manual handling and solid knowledge of transportation regulations.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
