Logistics Operative

STS Aviation Services is hiring a Logistics Operative to join its team at Manchester Airport.

This role supports the movement, storage and distribution of aircraft parts, materials, tools and equipment across the Manchester operation. It is well suited to someone who is organised, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced aviation environment where accuracy and traceability matter.

Position Overview

The Logistics Operative will support day-to-day logistics and stores activities, including receiving deliveries, checking materials, issuing parts to engineering teams and preparing items for dispatch and collection.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good organisation and a consistent focus on safety, security and accurate stock control.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming aircraft parts and materials
• Store aircraft parts, tools, equipment and materials correctly
• Pick and issue items to engineering and maintenance teams
• Prepare parts and equipment for dispatch
• Prepare items for collection
• Maintain accurate stock records
• Support routine stock checks
• Load and unload deliveries safely
• Ensure parts and materials are correctly identified
• Maintain appropriate storage and traceability of all items
• Keep warehouse and working areas clean and organised
• Follow company procedures
• Follow health and safety requirements
• Follow aviation security procedures
• Work closely with Logistics, Stores and Engineering teams
