Job title: Logistics Operative
Location: Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £15.72 per hour
Hours: Average of 40.25 hours per week.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off Days: 06:00 - 18:00
Please note that interviews for this position will be conducted via an Assessment Centre.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Operative in our Building Management Services (BMS) Team at Hinkley Point C.
Working Within Dedicated Teams, As a Construction Logistics Operative You Will Be Supporting With a Variety Of Tasks Including The Following
- Installing way finding and emergency signage.
- Waste management & segregation.
- General housekeeping.
- General receipt & stock control of consumables & equipment.
- Providing general support to various contractors across Hinkley Point C.
- General vehicle maintenance & housekeeping.
- Ensure that HPC code of conduct is followed at all times.

What Do We Need From You
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- A CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date).
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to understand Safe Systems of work.
- To demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in unsafe conditions.
- To maintain a good work ethic and routine.
- To be able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Experience of working within the construction Industry.
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Tooling and consumables.
- Understanding logistics limitations and regulation.
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
