We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Operative within our Construction Logistics Space (CLS) team at Hinkley Point C.
As a Logistics Operative, you will play a key role in providing support to logistics operations by assisting with the management of vehicle control access points (VCAPS). Once trained as a Traffic Marshal you will also support with vehicle manoeuvring in designated construction material delivery areas, and ensuring the safe use of pedestrian crossings for workers on site.
You will utilise electronic systems to ensure correct bookings are in place to allow access to construction delivery routes. You will have the ability to work with the blue and white-collar workforce, and form part of a great team.
We have day and night shifts available depending on your preference working on a 12 hour shift.

What We Can Offer You
- Starting from £15.72 per hour
- Average of 40.25 hours per week working on a rotation of 12-hour shifts 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off, 5 on, 5 off
- Hours worked over 11.14 hours per day will be paid at an enhanced overtime rate

Essential Skills And Qualifications
- CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before the start date)
- Good IT skills
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history and the required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of approximately 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
