Job Description

Your Impact

Looking for a fresh start and a role where every detail counts? Join our Logistics Stores Team and be the vital link between our projects and our customers—no experience needed, just your commitment to learning, precision, and teamwork.

At Leonardo, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Operative. Leonardo is a global high-tech company and one of the key players in Aerospace, Defence, and Security. Headquartered in Italy, Leonardo has over 45,000 employees, of which 7,000 are based in the UK. The Radar and Advanced Targeting line of business, based in Edinburgh, is uniquely positioned as one of the world's top manufacturers of radars, lasers, and infra-red countermeasure systems.

As a Stores Team Member, you will be responsible for accurately picking, preparing, and processing materials, components, and products for internal and external customers while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, housekeeping, and inventory accuracy. The role supports the efficient operation of the warehouse and contributes to achieving departmental performance targets.

No Experience is required as we have a robust training plan in place which will take you through all aspects of the role and what is expected at each stage.

Your Main Responsibilities as a Logistics Operative

  • Picking and Packing

    • Accurately pick stock, materials, and components from warehouse locations using pick lists, scanners, or warehouse management systems.
    • Verify part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and batch information before dispatch.
    • Pack items securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Inventory Management

    • Maintain stock accuracy by following inventory control procedures.
    • Participate in cycle counts and stock checks as required.
    • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged stock, or location issues promptly.
    • Ensure stock is stored in the correct designated locations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
