At Speedibake we’re incredibly passionate about making delicious own-label baked goods. From our bakery in Bradford, we supply to a customer base across all channels; retail, foodservice wholesalers, contract catering, and export.

Overview Of Role

Company: Speedibake

Location: Bradford

Provide accurate and efficient service to customers through the warehouse management system. You'll work as part of a team, collaborating with other business areas. Your role includes ensuring effective control of incoming goods and material deliveries, issuing materials to manufacturing plants for continuous production, and maintaining the D365 system for stock levels and movements. You'll also be responsible for the safe unloading of deliveries and supporting the development of a proactive Health & Safety environment. Additionally, you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the stores department's performance and people.

Key Accountabilities

Health and Safety

  • Always wear correct PPE.
  • Ensure you are working in a safe manner in compliance with company H&S policies and procedures.
  • Report hazards/unsafe acts to your line manager.
  • Support all safety initiatives, ensuring that the department is run safely.

KPI's

  • Report any maintenance issues immediately to your line manager.
  • All stock put away, picked and loaded accurately on the WMS with any issues to be reported immediately.
  • Plan and organize daily/weekly activities, all stock entered accurately on the system.
  • Assist the team in other areas, when necessary, deal with phone calls and requests when required, liaise with Customer Services when necessary.
  • Adopt a proactive approach for unplanned events which may include late deliveries or plan changes in the Factory or elsewhere on site.
  • Any instances of poor quality of deliveries to be reported to your line Manager.

Quality

  • Report instances of poor quality or box crushing to your line manager.

Hygiene:

  • Adhere to the Clean as you go policy, correct storage of equipment, deal with spillages/leaks in a timely manner.

Training

  • Understand your responsibilities and maintain training, actively assess personal training needs and seek training.
  • Ensure all FLT operations are aligned to your training.

Paperwork/Machinery

  • Ensure all daily paperwork is filled in correctly as and when required in a timely manner.
  • Report all machinery malfunctions to your line manager.

The Right Person

Functional Skills

  • FLT Licences Reach/Counter Balance.
  • Previous Experience in Warehousing.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Good communicator.
  • Knowledge of D365 advantageous.
