Logistics & PDI Operative
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & PDI Operative to join our team in Livingston. This role is key to ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standards and delivered efficiently across our network.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating pre-delivery inspections (PDI), managing vehicle movements, and maintaining smooth logistical operations to support our sales and aftersales teams.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Hours
8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 42.5 hours per week.
Salary
Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out and oversee Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to manufacturer and company standards.
- Coordinate vehicle movements between sites, compounds, and customers.
- Manage stock control and ensure accurate vehicle records.
- Liaise with transport providers and internal departments.
- Ensure vehicles are prepared, cleaned, and ready for handover on time.
- Identify and report any defects or issues prior to delivery.
- Support continuous improvement in logistics and preparation processes.

Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience in automotive PDI, logistics, or vehicle preparation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
