Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Working Hours: 8:30 – 5pm with 30 mins lunch break, Monday to Friday
About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Planner to join the logistics team. You will be the key in delivering outstanding service to our customers by managing goods along the Supply Chain to their end location. You will need a keen eye for detail and be able to build great working relationships across internal departments, Customers, and our Logistics Partners to ensure we get it right first time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of customer orders and management of orderbooks
- Scheduling booking slots with customers aligned to forecasts and monthly targets
- Coordinating transport for bulk and direct deliveries
- Balancing available stock against customer allocations and forecasts
- Informing the business of any risk to the monthly forecast achievement rate
- Verification and processing of logistics invoices
- Other Ad hoc tasks where expected.
Key Skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Good level of Excel and Microsoft Office required (xlook up and Pivots essential)
- Experience of SAP preferred but not essential
- Must be a reliable team player and be able to demonstrate good communication skills and problem-solving abilities
