YOUR ROLE
Our Contract Logistics Lead Logistics team based in Ashby de la Zouch have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and improvement focused Logistics Planning & CI Analyst. This crucial role works in partnership with a prestigious client providing experienced analytical support, best practice solution design, implementation, costing and presentations for projected continuous improvement propositions for both CEVA Logistics and the client.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Logistics Planning & CI Manager, you will use data driven analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities and present the analysis and findings to internal and external stakeholders. You will actively contribute to continuous improvement cost down initiatives ensuring delivery through project management methods such as project planning, tracking and clear communication strategies and provide support to senior stakeholders on the creation and delivery of proposals and presentations.
You will provide monthly business intelligence reporting on shipments and spend within the contract and undertake regular rate review exercises to evaluate prices for client trade lanes with a focus on cost save and operational efficiency across all Air, Ocean, and Ground business lines.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will have proven experience in data analysis, with the ability to manipulate large and complex datasets using MS Excel. You should be able to present insights effectively through Power BI or MS PowerPoint. Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as QlikView is desirable; however, we welcome individuals who are eager to learn.
In addition, you will possess knowledge of freight forwarding logistics or global international transportation, including transport pricing, along with a strong operational understanding. It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator able to build internal and external relationships and influence decisions. You will possess strong analysis skills, be a logical and creative thinker and a team player.

It would be desirable if you possess advanced knowledge of MS Office products; however, an intermediate understanding is essential.
