Logistics Process Engineer
Sector: Automotive Logistics
Location: Wolverhampton area
Salary: Depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full time
Hours: Office-based hours; start and finish times may occasionally need to change to support project requirements
Are you an Industrial Engineer, Logistics Engineer or Process Improvement Engineer with experience of MTM or other time-measurement techniques, along with warehouse layout experience? ISQ Recruitment is recruiting a Logistics Process Engineer for an established automotive logistics operation in Wolverhampton. You will manage improvement projects from initial analysis and planning through to implementation, go-live and stabilisation.
About the role
Working with Operations, Quality, Health and Safety, Systems and customer teams, you will improve operational processes, layouts, productivity and resource use across a fast-moving automotive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering logistics and process-improvement projects
- Completing MTM calculations or other time-measurement analysis
- Reviewing process times, costs, resources and material flow
- Designing, reviewing and physically implementing warehouse layouts
- Investigating operational problems and introducing practical improvements
- Supporting project implementation, communication, go-live and stabilisation
- Analysing data and presenting clear findings to management
- Ensuring changes meet quality and health and safety requirements
What we are looking for
- Automotive manufacturing, automotive logistics or Tier 1 supplier experience
- Experience with MTM calculations or practical time-measurement techniques
- Experience delivering and stabilising operational projects
- Warehouse layout design, interpretation and implementation experience
- Strong analytical, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate across operational and technical teams
