Logistics Security Officer

Permanent

Location: London

Hours: 4 on, 4 off days & nights 07.00am-19.00pm - 19.00pm-07.00am

Pay: £15.30 ph

Are you a vigilant and dedicated professional looking for a rewarding career in security? We are seeking a reliable and proactive Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. If you have strong observational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally, we would love to hear from you!

About The Role

As a Logistics Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Conduct patrols and checks using provided systems and equipment.
  • Stay alert for suspicious behavior, including hostile reconnaissance.
  • Respond quickly to incidents and follow instructions from your Supervisor/Control Room.
  • Record and report incidents accurately.
  • Conduct searches, access control and other security tasks as required.
  • Communicate clearly and help visitors when needed.
  • Use equipment and approved systems correctly; report any defects.
  • Manage keys responsibly and in line with procedures.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience as a security officer in a corporate environment.
  • Professional communication with colleagues, clients, contractors, and management.
  • Strong attention to detail, good timekeeping, and ability to prioritise.
  • Think and act quickly in emergencies and under pressure.
  • Able to produce clear verbal and written reports.
  • Record and update day-to-day deliveries using Fulcrum, as required.
  • Coordinate traffic flow.
  • Ensure safe movement of plant and other service route activities.
