The Opportunity
Working as part of the Logistics Services team, you will act as a primary contact for internal and external customers in relation to Logistics Service offerings provided for UK and Ireland. This will include supporting the relationship between Almac UK, Ireland and Singapore and its Freight transport partners with the objective of providing a seamless end to end service to Almac’s customers in the most cost effective and efficient method.
Our Logistics Services Coordinators also maintain centre of excellence for the import and export of Clinical Trial Material by providing global technical advice both internally and externally. You will also maintain key relationships with internal & external customers, Logistics & regulatory agencies.

What You Need To Be Successful
To be successful in this position, you must either be eligible to work in the UK without restrictions or hold a valid work permit enabling you to undertake full-time employment in the UK.
Additionally candidates should have at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in Maths and English, or relevant experience in a customer-facing logistics role or any customer-facing position.
Additional requirements include knowledge of international logistics, import/export regulations, courier management, and a proven ability to prioritize and allocate work based on customer needs.
Skills And Attributes

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages
- Previous experience in developing and analysing KPIs for internal and external customers
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and on own initiative

Please note this role will be based on evening shift – 15.30 – 23.30 based on 37.5 hours per week between Monday – Friday.
