Logistics Solutions Consultant
Breakthrough Talent is working with a consultancy to hire a Logistics Solutions Consultant into their logistics software team. They build their own route optimisation, delivery management, and supply chain planning software, used by businesses running everything from small local fleets to large multi-depot operations. Demand is growing, and they need someone technical who enjoys working directly with customers.
The Role
You'll start by working on customer implementations at the start, so you really get to know the software. From there, you'll move into a pre-sales role:
- Responding to inbound enquiries and RFIs. There's no cold calling and no sales quota.
- Joining early customer calls alongside a salesperson.
- Running requirements workshops and tailored demos.
- Scoping proof of concepts.
- Seeing deals through to a clean handover into implementation.

You'll work closely with the Product Owners, so what you hear from customers shapes the product.
What They're Looking For
- Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting B2B software for clients, ideally in logistics, transport, or supply chain.
- Some exposure to customer demos, workshops, or client-facing technical conversations.
- Confidence working with data. SQL, Python, Excel, or Power BI are all useful.
- The ability to explain technical things clearly to non-technical people.
- Experience with route planning, TMS, telematics, or GIS tools is a big plus but not essential.

This is a great fit for an implementation or technical consultant who wants to move closer to pre-sales without giving up the technical side.
The Package
- Salary up to £65,000.
- Hybrid working, with 2 days a week.
- Occasional customer site visits.
- Dedicated time for training and innovation.
