The Position: Logistics Specialist
We are seeking a Digital Logistics Specialist to support the Logistics Data & Digital Programme across the HPC Project. Working within the Logistics function, this role will act as a key link between Logistics Operations, Digital Teams, Suppliers and Project Delivery Teams, ensuring logistics systems, data and digital processes are effectively managed and continuously improved.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the digital transformation of logistics operations, driving data quality, resolving system and process issues, and helping ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements within a complex, highly regulated environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and ongoing development of logistics data and digital initiatives across the project.
- Act as a key interface between logistics operations, digital teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
- Monitor logistics data quality, compliance, and system performance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established processes.
- Coordinate the investigation and resolution of system, process, and data-related issues to minimize operational disruption.
- Support the implementation of improvements to logistics systems, workflows, and reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and management information to support effective decision-making.
- Ensure logistics users are supported in the effective use of digital tools and systems, promoting best practice and process compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, visibility, and operational performance across the logistics function.
- Support governance, reporting, and assurance activities relating to logistics data and digital systems.

Preferred Profile
Alongside a commitment to our values of Care & Compassion, Performance, Team Spirit, and Inclusiveness, we are looking for individuals who can bring the following:
- Demonstrable experience working within a logistics systems, logistics data, or supply chain systems environment.
- Experience operating within controlled, secure, or highly regulated digital environments.
- Strong understanding of data quality management, compliance monitoring, and process governance.
- Proven ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, teams, and suppliers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience investigating and resolving operational or system-related issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different functions.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Stock Control Systems, or Materials Management Systems would be advantageous.
- Experience within construction, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, or major infrastructure projects is desirable.
- Knowledge of nuclear, defence, energy, or other highly regulated industry environments would be beneficial.
- Previous experience in leadership, service management, or digital support functions would be advantageous.
