What's The Role
We're looking for a Distribution Process Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, improving processes and using data to drive better business outcomes.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our distribution network, working closely with logistics providers, warehouse partners, transportation carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure products move efficiently through our supply chain. You'll combine operational expertise with process improvement and digital innovation, helping us continuously improve the customer experience while supporting our growth ambitions.
This role offers exposure across logistics systems, data analytics, project management within a logistics setting, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their supply chain expertise within a global organisation.
What You'll Do
As a Distribution Process Specialist, you'll be responsible for driving continuous improvement across our distribution and logistics processes while supporting the day-to-day execution of operations. You will:
- Lead and support process improvement projects across warehousing, transportation and logistics operations using Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, service performance, productivity and cost efficiency through process and system enhancements.
- Work with SAP S/4, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS) and data integrations to optimise logistics performance.
- Monitor logistics performance through KPI reporting, dashboards creations and data analysis.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers and freight partners to ensure service excellence and contractual compliance.
- Support transport operations including delivery performance, freight cost management, invoice auditing and carrier performance management.
- Analyse customer complaints and operational issues to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Create and maintain reporting, dashboards and visualisations that help drive operational decision-making.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Finance and other business areas.

What You’ll Bring
- Experience in logistics, supply chain or distribution operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Advanced Excel, program scripting and Power Query skills.
- Confidence using AI tools and prompt-based technologies to improve efficiency and workflows.
- Experience with SAP S/4, WMS & TMS platforms, Carrier integration (API/EDI) would be advantageous.
- A continuous improvement mindset and experience applying Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in project management and process implementation would be advantageous.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline (desirable)
- Working experience managing logistics providers, carrier relationships or transport operations would be beneficial.
- Willingness to spend time both in an office environment and operational logistics locations as required.
