The Logistics Team Leader Role
We're looking for an organised, proactive and safety-conscious Logistics Team Leader to join our busy Regional Distribution Centre in Reading.
This is a key operational role focused on supporting the smooth and compliant running of our logistics function. Working closely alongside the Logistics Manager, you'll take the lead on transport compliance, driver supervision, fleet administration, health & safety and the day-to-day coordination of logistics activities to ensure exceptional service is delivered to our customers.
Whilst this role does not directly manage the warehouse operation or warehouse colleagues, you'll be a visible member of the wider operational leadership team and will be expected to support warehouse activities whenever required, helping to maintain an efficient, collaborative and customer-focused operation.
What You Will Be Doing
As our Logistics Team Leader, you'll play an important role in ensuring our transport and logistics operation runs safely, efficiently and in full compliance with company and legal standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
