Logistics Lead – RAN Deployment (UK Telecoms)

UK | Hybrid | Contract (outside IR35)

We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Lead with a background in UK telecoms RAN deployment. You’ll work closely with warehouse suppliers, RAN vendors and delivery partners to ensure equipment is forecasted, managed and moved efficiently across multiple national rollout programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with warehouse partners, RAN vendors and delivery partners to manage equipment flow to/from sites
  • Forecast all RAN hardware requirements and align with programme budgets
  • Manage stock levels, call‑offs, deliveries, returns and re‑use
  • Oversee reverse logistics including decommissioning, disposal and faulty equipment (“hospital kits”)
  • Maintain high quality standards with suppliers and ensure accurate reporting
  • Provide clear visibility of stock, risks, issues and financial impacts to stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement across logistics processes and warehouse operations

Ideal Background:

  • Experience in UK RAN deployment for operators or vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, EE, VM02, Vodafone, MBNL, CTIL, or telecom service providers supporting these programmes)
  • Strong understanding of RAN hardware flows: forecasting, call‑off, delivery, stock control, reverse logistics
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced technical delivery environments
  • Strong data analysis and financial tracking capability
  • Confident communicator able to influence suppliers, partners and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of acquisition, design, build, transmission or wider network rollout functions is beneficial
