We match the right expertise to the right client. At BNP Paribas we do that through two closely linked but distinct teams - UK Coverage and Corporate Clients Group
Join Coverage and become the trusted adviser for a diverse portfolio of UK‑based companies. Coverage bankers serve as the primary point of contact between the bank and corporate clients
- You’ll develop deep client relationships, understand each client’s financing, risk‑management and strategic objectives.
- Additionally, you'll orchestrate bespoke solutions by leveraging the full suite of BNP Paribas products and expertise across the institution.
- You’ll also get to dive into multiple transactions across Advisory (M&A, valuations and private‑equity), Acquisition Financing, Loans, DCM (Bonds) or ECM (IPOs) throughout multiple sectors, i.e. Industrials.
- All of this while gaining a deep commercial understanding of the UK market and collaborating with product experts across the bank.

The Programme Overview
Graduate Programme
This is a non-rotational role so you will join one team and stay imbedded for the duration the programme. You will work closely with many other teams across the business.
- This will allow you to enhance your technical and professional skills, increase your knowledge of Banking and lay the foundations for your future career at BNP Paribas.
- You will be taking on real responsibility from the start and contributing to live client projects.
- This is your opportunity to develop skills, build your network, and demonstrate your potential for a permanent position following the programme.
What You’ll Do
- Work on live transactions and client projects
- Research and analyze industries and companies
- Assist in preparing pitch books and presentations
- Support the development of financial models and valuations
- Learn how credit and risk are assessed and help draft client reports
- Collaborate with different product teams to deliver integrated solutions

What We’re Looking For
To Join The Coverage Global Banking Graduate Programme, You Must Be Completing Your Degree Course In 2027 (or Be Within Two Years Of Graduating) And Have
- Strong academic background with a degree from a leading university or similar top-tier institution
- Be fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills, additional languages are advantageous
- Previous related internship or work experience in Financial Services
- Good understanding of financial markets
- Knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel in particular) and experience in using investment banking databases a strong advantage (e.g. Bloomberg, Thomson One Banker, Datastream)
- Demonstrate analytical abilities and strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- An interest in finance and economic affairs
- Proactive and enthusiastic self-starter
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
