Business Area
BNP Paribas’ Global Markets business offers a broad range of products and services in the global interest rates, credit, currency, equities & commodity markets. Global Markets help their franchise of clients find effective ways to raise and invest capital as well as manage their exposure to risk. Their client base comprises of hundreds of corporations, institutional investors, banks, governments and supranational organizations.
Global Markets has the scale and reach to conduct business anywhere in the world and deliver products denominated in almost all of the world’s currencies. Their global network comprises more than 3,000 professionals working on our six main trading floors in London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Singapore and Tokyo. They are supported by regional offices throughout Europe, the Americas, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
The Programme Overview
As part of this internship, you may be considered for the 2028 Global Markets Graduate Programme in [London/Glasgow] ONLY.
- Participate in Technical and Business Skills Training
- Complete Desk specific assignments
- The work you could be involved in varies depending on the desks you join
- Complete Summer Internship projects
What We’re Looking For
- Candidates are required to be in their penultimate year of study
- All candidates must speak fluent English
- Excellent academic background, on track for a minimum 2:1 or equivalent in Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets and economic affairs
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office tools
- Strong mathematical, analytical & quantitative skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of professionalism
- Motivated and driven to learn more about Global Markets
- Pro-activeness
- Required to demonstrate and apply the listed skills and competences at novice level at least
