London Academy Scout (Casual)

Norwich City Football Club is seeking to recruit a London Academy Scout on a casual basis to support the identification of talented players aged U13-U16 within London grassroots football.

Due to the ad hoc nature of the role, applicants must be based within the M25 and have a strong knowledge and connections within their local grassroots football network.

As a Category One Academy, Norwich City is committed to identifying and developing high-potential young players. This role is an excellent opportunity to play a key part in our recruitment programme by providing regular coverage of grassroots fixtures, identifying realistic Academy targets and producing high quality player reports.

Successful applicants will be paid an hourly rate and be enrolled onto the club’s scouting bonus programme to further reward high achievers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
