The Role
As London City Lead, you are accountable for the commercial, operational, and experiential performance of beyond’s London portfolio.
You will lead, manage, and develop the Community Managers and Senior Community Managers across London and Dublin, ensuring each building is delivering against its financial, commercial, operational, and member experience objectives.
You will report directly to the Community Director and act as the key link between our London building teams and central functions, working closely with Sales, Finance, Real Estate, HR, and other support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the London Community Managers and Senior Community Managers, setting clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
- Build a high-performing, commercially-minded leadership team across London, ensuring strong collaboration and consistency between locations
- Hold managers accountable for the performance of their individual buildings while providing support, challenge, and escalation where required
- Identify development and succession opportunities across the London Community team
Commercial & Sales Leadership
- Own overall commercial performance across the London portfolio, including revenue, occupancy, conversion, renewals, and retention
- Review building-level pipeline and commercial performance, challenging Community Managers to take proactive action where targets are at risk
- Partner closely with Sales to maximize portfolio-wide opportunities, including major prospects, expansions, renewals, and broker relationships
- Identify and drive commercial initiatives that support growth across multiple London locations

Member Experience & Retention
- Ensure a consistently high standard of member experience across the London portfolio
- Maintain oversight of key and strategic member relationships, supporting Community Managers with complex or commercially sensitive matters
- Review member KPIs and trends across locations, including NPS, retention, and churn risk
- Drive consistent action plans and best-practice sharing to improve member experience and retention
Operational Oversight
- Maintain senior oversight of operational performance across all London locations through effective management of the Community Managers
- Ensure each building consistently meets beyond’s operational, safety, and service standards
- Act as the senior escalation point for significant building, landlord, vendor, or operational issues
- Identify recurring portfolio-wide challenges and ensure effective solutions are implemented consistently across locations
Financial Performance
- Own overall financial performance across the London portfolio in partnership with Finance
- Hold Community Managers accountable for their building P&Ls, budgets, Opex, and financial performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and regular business reviews across the London portfolio
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and overall portfolio profitability
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in flexible workspace, hospitality, commercial real estate, multi-site operations, or a similar customer-facing environment
- Proven experience leading and developing managers across multiple teams or locations
- Strong track record of delivering commercial growth, revenue, occupancy, and retention targets
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L ownership, budgets, and forecasting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the credibility to work with senior clients, landlords, and internal leadership
