Where We Need You

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Architecture to join Protiviti's Data & Analytics practice in the UK. This is a senior technical consulting role for an experienced cloud data architect who can lead the design and end-to-end delivery of modern enterprise data platforms, with particular depth in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and cloud data architecture.

You will work with clients to translate complex business and technology requirements into scalable, secure and practical data solutions. You will combine strong technical expertise with client leadership, project delivery, bids and proposal development, and people development, while maintaining chargeability in line with agreed targets.

What You Can Expect

Senior Managers partner with our clients to solve complex business problems and provide best-in-class advice and solutions. You will develop a strong understanding of your clients' businesses, provide technical leadership within your area of expertise and translate challenging requirements into practical solutions.

You will take responsibility for successful project delivery, build trusted client relationships and contribute to developing opportunities with existing and new clients. This includes shaping solutions, preparing bids and proposals, supporting client presentations and estimations, and balancing client delivery with practice-building responsibilities.

As a senior member of the Data & Analytics practice, you will also help develop our people and capabilities, share knowledge and provide technical direction to colleagues. You will be expected to manage assigned resources effectively across client delivery, practice commitments and business development activity, ensuring capacity is planned and deployed in a way that supports high-quality delivery and maintains optimal chargeability in line with agreed targets.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Data Architecture Leadership

  • Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of scalable, secure and resilient cloud data architectures aligned to client business and technology objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into pragmatic data architectures, technical roadmaps and implementation approaches.
  • Provide technical leadership across modern data platforms, helping clients make appropriate architecture and technology decisions.

Databricks & Modern Data Platforms

  • Design enterprise Databricks and Lakehouse solutions incorporating technologies and patterns such as Delta Lake, medallion architecture, Unity Catalog and Databricks SQL.
  • Apply strong knowledge of modern cloud data ecosystems, including Azure and/or AWS, with experience architecting and delivering solutions across Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Architect maintainable and scalable data solutions that meet appropriate performance, security, governance and operational requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
