Experienced Audio Engineer for Live Performance Series
This role is for an experienced audio engineer to support a recurring live-performance series in London, spotlighting emerging UK indie and alternative artists. The project draws inspiration from the stripped-back, high-quality production of COLORS and aims to deliver studio-grade sound for each session. The engineer will be responsible for both on-location recording and post-production mixing, ensuring each performance meets the highest standards for broadcast and online distribution. This is a long-term partnership opportunity for someone passionate about live music and audio excellence.
Deliverables
- Provide and set up all necessary audio equipment for each live session
- Oversee on-site sound engineering during performances, ensuring optimal audio capture
- Manage a small crew as needed for efficient setup and breakdown
- Deliver multi-track recordings and complete post-production mixing for each session
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain consistent audio quality across episodes
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and adapt to various venue acoustics
- Ensure all deliverables are ready for broadcast and digital platforms

Requirements
- Proven experience in live sound engineering for music performances, preferably with indie or alternative artists
- Advanced knowledge of audio recording, mixing, and mastering techniques
- Ability to provide and operate professional-grade audio equipment
- Strong post-production skills using industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro)
- Experience working on-location and adapting to different acoustic environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Based in or able to travel regularly to London for on-site work
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, consistent results for a recurring series
