Environmental Loss Adjuster – Midlands/North (Home-Based)

Location: Midlands/North England (Home-based)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 DOE + Car Allowance
Job Type: Full-time

The Opportunity
Our client, an established loss adjusting firm, is looking to recruit an Environmental Loss Adjuster to join their Loss Adjusting Division. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced adjuster to specialise in environmental claims while working across a varied caseload of property and liability losses.

The Role

  • Proactively investigate environmental claims and report on findings, in line with client requirements and service standards.
  • Investigate policy liability and quantum, gathering evidence to support recommendations.
  • Deliver a high level of technical quality and customer service throughout the claims process.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with all relevant parties.
  • Handle claims involving first and/or third-party property damage, in either a domestic or commercial claims arena.

Requirements

  • Strong insurance claims/adjusting background, with experience handling first and/or third-party property damage claims.
  • Minimum 3 years' property damage claims experience.
  • Minimum DIP CII / DIP CILA, or willing to work towards (candidates with strong requisite experience will also be considered).
  • Experience with environmental claims is desirable, but candidates with general property or liability claims experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and investigation skills.
  • High level of IT competency and literacy.
  • Full driving licence required.
