We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Loss Prevention Advisor – Data to join our Loss Prevention team, based at Hilmore House in Bradford.
You’ll play a key role in expanding our insight capabilities by running, manipulating, and analysing data to uncover patterns and risks around fraud and theft. You’ll help protect the business by turning complex datasets into actionable insights that inform decisions all the way up to director level.
We are therefore looking for someone who is passionate about problem-solving and making a tangible impact.
You’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Insight: Run, manipulate, and analyse large datasets to identify patterns and behaviours indicating loss, theft, or fraud risks, escalating key trends as appropriate.
- Process Automation: Perform core reporting activities while proactively identifying and implementing ways to simplify, speed up, and automate manual data processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Store Operations, Online, Finance, and Contact Centres to help shape the future of our loss detection capacity.
- Clear Communication: Translate complex data findings into clear, simple action points and insight packs for wider business teams and leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Highlight new insights and emerging trends to divisional leadership teams through ad-hoc analysis and bespoke projects.
- Data Accuracy & Maintenance: Ensure high standards of accuracy across all Loss Prevention reporting distributions and maintain strict data confidentiality.

About You

We're looking for someone enthusiastic, analytical, and ready to make a difference, with the following:
- Data Background: Proven experience in data analysis, data mining, and working with large datasets (experience in a retail or e-commerce environment is a plus).
- Technical & Coding Skills (preferred): An ideal candidate will have experience using data tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, or Google Looker Studio / BI platforms.
- Automation Experience: Knowledge of how to build reports, automate workflows, and simplify manual data processes.
- Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise detail clearly for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Problem Solving & Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Data Integrity: Understanding of the constraints and responsibilities of handling sensitive and confidential data.
