Loss Prevention Officer – Rotational Shifts (Blanchardstown Store)

The Role
Working within our Loss Prevention team at NEXT in our Blanchardstown store, you’ll effectively support the creation of a safe and secure working and shopping environment. Your uniformed presence will protect company assets and help minimise loss.
What You’ll Take On
- Ensure our stores remain safe and secure places for both shopping and working
- Collaborate closely with store teams while fostering strong relationships with local police
- Identify and act on high-risk areas as a deterrent on the shop floor
- Work with store management to uphold company Loss Prevention standards consistently
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager, including:
- Out-of-hours surveillance
- Carrying out LP audits
- Providing support across multiple locations
- Attending department meetings
What You’ll Bring
Essential Requirements
- A valid PSA licence
- Flexibility to cover multiple stores and varying opening times
- Ability to travel daily while being within reasonable distance from your home
- Commitment to promoting safety for employees and customers
- Strong organisational skills to thrive in a fast-paced, high-traffic store

Preferred Qualifications & Traits
- Experience in retail security, where applicable
- Proactive self-motivation and initiative
- Confident communication skills to build relationships with store teams, police, and customers
- Comfortable using IT systems and computers (though not mandatory)
Additional Expectations
- Fully flexible to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings
