Following a £10 million investment, our Manchester Lounge has recently been transformed into one of our latest lounge concepts and is currently one of the first in Europe to feature this new design. With enhanced dining, premium facilities and live cooking stations, it has been created to give our customers an even more memorable start to their journey.
As a Lounge Agent, you’ll play a key role in bringing that experience to life. You’ll welcome our premium customers, make sure they feel looked after from the moment they arrive and help ensure the lounge operates to the high standards our customers expect from Emirates.
What will I be doing?
- Welcome customers to the Emirates Lounge and provide a warm, professional and personalised service.
- Introduce customers to the lounge facilities and services available, offering assistance throughout their visit.
- Help maintain the presentation, service and hospitality standards of the lounge, working closely with our catering, cleaning and maintenance partners.
- Support customers with operational requirements including boarding passes, seat changes, transit check-in, reservation updates and boarding from the lounge where required.
- Keep customers informed of flight information and any changes affecting their journey.
- Support stock control, reporting, audits and other operational and administrative activities required to keep the lounge running smoothly.
- Work flexibly with the wider airport team and support airport operations and ticket desk duties when required.

Qualification
Our Ideal Lounge Agent Will Have
- Previous experience within hospitality, aviation or a premium customer service environment.
- A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with customers from around the world.
- The ability to remain calm, professional and organised in a busy operational environment.
- Good IT skills.

Things You Must Have To Be Considered
- The unrestricted right to live and work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship or visa support for this role.
- The ability to pass the required five-year background history and criminal records checks in order to obtain an airport pass.
- The ability to work from Manchester Airport and across the shift patterns required by the operation.
- Fluency in spoken and written languages, with other languages a plus.
