Job Description

We are looking for a professional Lounge Host to provide an exceptional food and beverage service experience to guests in a premium airport lounge. You will be responsible for delivering attentive, efficient, and friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality.

  • Welcome and assist guests, responding to queries and requests in a professional manner.
  • Take note of guest food and beverage requests and provide attentive table service.
  • Set up and clear tables, ensuring dining areas are clean, presentable, and well maintained.
  • Maintain the buffet area, including replenishing food, explaining dishes, and supporting guests with their selections.
  • Confidently describe buffet and à la carte dishes, including relevant allergen information.
  • Liaise closely with the bar and culinary teams to ensure food and beverage orders are delivered efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, including polishing cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating to supervisors or managers when required.
  • Support cleaning and back-of-house teams during quieter periods.
  • Deliver all services in line with established company and client standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality, ideally within a premium or customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional, confident, and approachable with a strong attention to detail.
  • A positive team player with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and shifts across a 7-day operation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Well-presented and professional, with a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering high service standards.
