We are working with a highly regarded, technology-driven investment firm seeking a Quantitative Developer to join a specialist infrastructure team focused on building and optimising cutting-edge trading and research systems.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing the firm's core trading and research infrastructure. The work sits close to the hardware and operating system level, with a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Building and optimising low-latency trading systems
  • Developing high-throughput research infrastructure
  • Designing and maintaining distributed systems across global environments
  • Improving networking performance and reliability
  • Contributing to systems for testing, deployment, and monitoring
  • Working closely with engineers, researchers, and traders to improve system performance

Core Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (BS/MS/PhD)
  • Strong programming skills in C or C++
  • Solid understanding of core systems concepts, such as:
    • Operating systems
    • Networking
    • Concurrency and multithreading
