Traffic Management Operative - Southeast (Qualified)
Qualifications: Lantra M1/M2 M3 M3 M5 M6 M7 12ab IPV
Location:
- Southeast Gatwick - RH11 0PJ
Salary: Leading the way with industry-beating pay rates, making us one of the highest-paying employers in the Southeast.
Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week plus overtime opportunities. Day shifts are most common; however, flexibility is essential. Successful candidates must be available to work evenings, nights, weekends, work away during peak periods, and participate in an on-call rota where required.

About The Role
As a Traffic Management Operative, you'll be responsible for delivering safe and efficient traffic management solutions on road networks and construction projects across the region.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems
- Setting up road closures, diversions, pedestrian walkways, signage, barriers, and traffic lights
- Ensuring all works comply with Chapter 8 and safety legislation
- Carrying out site checks and maintaining high safety standards
- Supporting and mentoring new trainees within the team
- Working collaboratively to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Every day is different, and your work will directly contribute to keeping people safe on our roads.
Essential Requirements
Lantra Qualifications:
- SLG Unit 2
- M1/M2
- M3/M4
- M5 /M6
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Positive, proactive, and safety-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and working away when required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and any required medical assessments
- Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations
