Lower Secondary and IGCSE German Tutor

Wolsey Hall is a virtual organisation, offering home study courses for Key Stage 1, 2 and 3, International GCSE, and A-Level. Much of our work is with families who are home schooling their children. We have students in over 120 countries, and our business is growing steadily, thanks to many satisfied customers.

We seek inspirational and enthusiastic tutors of Lower Secondary and IGCSE German who are keen to work with students across the globe to support them with their homeschooling studies.

This is a self-employed, part-time role which predominantly comprises targeted written and recorded assignment feedback in line with our asynchronous model, although there are occasions to meet the students and also engage with them via messaging on our Learning Platform.

Our Tutor team works flexibly from their homes at times that suit them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
