Loyalty Card Manager
A great new opportunity has arisen, to manage our strategy and the execution, for our Iceland Customer Loyalty Card. We are looking for a Loyalty Card Manager. This role would suit someone who has a great understanding of the retail world and with marketing experience.
You will report into the Head of Customer Operations.
This is a great opportunity to really drive our agenda and be part of that journey.
Purpose of the Role
To improve sales through the bonus card loyalty programme. This will be achieved by the following 3 key areas.
Key Responsibilities and Objectives for the Role

Drive Profitable Sales Growth through our Bonus Card
- Increase bonus card swipe rate across the business.
- Create & maintain a bonus card activity plan that drives additional reasons to swipe.
- Work with marketing build to partnerships that would benefit our customers.
- Work with the insights team to establish value of Bonus card customers across all channels, highlighting opportunities for additional sales.
- Review ROI on all activity.

Great Experience for Our Customers
- Use information provided by contact centre, insights, or retail feedback to identify ongoing opportunities to the bonus card proposition or app.
- Initiate, participate & manage bonus card/app projects, working alongside IT or internal/external development teams.
- Work with CRM team to develop a beneficial programme.
- Continual review of competition loyalty propositions.

- Communication
- Using the activity plan, create a clear retail communication plan.
- Ensure all retail communication is clear and engaging to colleagues.
- Respond to feedback, work cross functionally to highlight, agree & embed process improvements.
- Continually challenge ways of working by gathering feedback from competitors, customer groups or the retail team.
You will be able to do this with the support of the business and the Head of Customer Operations, you will build effective plans in line with Iceland’s strategic initiatives, always looking for continual improvement to help success of team.
Key Experiences

- Some previous communications experience desirable
- Enjoy working within a fast paced ever changing environment
- Previous retail or online / Ecommerce experience
- Previous retail management experience would be desirable

Specialist Skills and Experience
- Some Marketing/Loyalty background.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to deliver the message with clarity, whilst maintaining sensitivity to the companies’ goals and values.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with all other Deeside departments.
- Confidence to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Creative ability to use a range of communication strategies including written or digital methods.
