PHYSICAL LPG OPERATOR

based LONDON
£70,000–£90,000 + bonus

A leading international commodities trading business is looking to appoint an experienced Physical LPG Operator to join its London operation.

This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy, working closely with the trading function and taking ownership of the physical trade lifecycle from execution through to settlement.

  • 5–10+ years’ physical commodity operations experience
  • Strong LPG experience, ideally Propane and/or Butane
  • Experience with VLGC/MGC or other LPG shipping
  • Cargo scheduling, vessel nominations, loading and discharge
  • Terminals, inspectors and shipping documentation
  • Letters of Credit and trade finance
  • Demurrage, claims and contractual issues
  • Strong understanding of physical commodity trading

You should be experienced enough to operate independently, commercially minded and comfortable remaining hands-on with the detail.
