About Us

Our Local Academy Board support the development of the school, and an active Friends Of LPPA group maintain an active social and fundraising calendar, in order to further develop this growing school. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons and must ensure that the highest priority is given following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join Little Learners at Longford Park Primary Academy, supporting children aged 2–4 years in a vibrant and engaging environment.

In this role, you will:
✅ Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding childcare and early years education
✅ Create a stimulating, creative and nurturing environment where children can flourish
✅ Drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest standards of quality, safeguarding and care
✅ Work in partnership with parents, carers and external professionals to support every child's development
✅ Mentor, develop and empower staff, building a team of highly skilled early years practitioners
✅ Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the nursery
✅ Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety standards

Essential Criteria
🎯 What We’re Looking For
Essential:
✅ Approved qualification at Level 3 or above - Early Years Educator Status
✅ Suitable qualification in Maths
✅ Minimum of 2 year’s experience in an Early Years setting ideally as Manager or deputy Manager or equivalent responsible role.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ A passion for learning through play and child development
