Luggage Porter
Take responsibility for all aspects of Health and Safety within the department on a day-to-day basis. To set consistent high standards of Health and Safety in all working practices.
Take part in department’s Fire Training and Practices and to ensure safe working practices within the department.
Ensure that you are fully conversant in all the Hotel’s Disciplinary and Grievance Policies and Procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
Provide excellent sense of welcome and ensure all guests are greeted using correct phraseology and assistance by opening and closing hotel’s entrances.
Carry arriving and departing guests’ luggage ensuring the safety and security of such luggage whilst in the hotel’s possession.
Display excellence in all communications methods, both formal and informal, written and verbal, at all times.
Handle guest and customer complaints with precision, speed and in a professional manner and to the hotel’s procedure.

Be responsible for planning, organising and monitoring the day-to-day operation of the department, while ensuring the department's overall objectives relate to the Hotel’s strategies.
Requirements
- Driving license
- Being able to stand for long periods of time
- Passionate about hospitality
- Knowledge of London
- Be fluent in English
- The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
