Join Our Team as a Nursery Lunch Cover at Hopscotch Children’s Nurseries

Are you looking for a rewarding role in a warm and welcoming environment? Do you enjoy working with young children and supporting a team to ensure the best possible care? Hopscotch Children’s Nurseries is looking for a Nursery Lunch Cover to join our team.

Position: Nursery Lunch Cover

  • Location: Worthing
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Salary: £12.76 per hour
  • Holidays: 28 days (including Bank Holidays)

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with setting up and supervising children during lunchtime and snack times.
  • Encourage positive mealtime routines and promote good eating habits.
  • Help children with feeding where needed and ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Support staff in maintaining a clean and safe nursery environment, including tidying up after meals.
  • Engage children in quiet play or rest activities after lunch.
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and safeguarding policies at all times.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A caring, friendly, and patient nature with a passion for working with children.
  • Experience working with young children is desirable but not essential.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team and support colleagues where needed.
  • An understanding of basic food hygiene and safety (training provided if needed).
  • Reliability and a commitment to maintaining a nurturing environment.
