Salary: School Support Scale 12 plus Real Living Wage Top Up (FTE £24,413). Actual salary £6,059.23 per annum (including RLW Top Up).
Hours: 10 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 12.00pm-2.00pm).
Working Pattern: Term Time Only (39 weeks).
Contract: Permanent.
Location: Kingsway Park High School, Rochdale.
Start Date: Dependent on notice period.

Kingsway Park High School is looking to appoint a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Organiser to join our support team.
You'll play an important part in ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for our students. Working alongside the catering team, you'll help supervise the dining areas, encourage positive behaviour, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and support the smooth running of the lunchtime service.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and wants to make a positive contribution to school life.
About The Role
You will:
- Support the smooth and efficient operation of the school dining areas.
- Supervise students during lunchtime, promoting positive behaviour and good manners.
- Help maintain a calm, safe and welcoming environment for all students.
- Work alongside the catering team to prepare and clear the dining areas.
- Clean tables and dining areas throughout the lunchtime period.
- Encourage respectful behaviour and positive social interaction.
- Respond appropriately to low-level behaviour issues and report concerns where necessary.
- Remain vigilant to safeguarding, welfare and medical concerns.
- Administer basic first aid following appropriate training.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an excellent lunchtime experience.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and young people.
- Is friendly, approachable and able to build positive relationships.
- Can remain calm, patient and professional in a busy environment.
- Is reliable, organised and able to work well as part of a team.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Is willing to undertake relevant training, including first aid.
- Shares our commitment to inclusion, respect and high expectations for every student.
Experience working with children or within a customer service, hospitality, catering or care environment would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
