About The Role
Stratford upon Avon Primary School is looking for two lunchtime supervisors to join our team. We love our school it is a thriving part of the local community and we want the children in our care to have the best education they can possibly have. Therefore, we are looking for people who believe in creating an environment for children that is fun, safe, exciting, ambitious and full of care. We want our children to enjoy lunchtimes. We want them to feel nurtured, listened to and to know that every adult in our school will ‘think outside the box’ to ensure their days are excellent. We want people who will play games with them and make sure that they are prepared ready to learn in the afternoon.
This role is 1 hour per day for 5 days a week (Monday to Friday lunchtime) - timings to be confirmed.
To Be a Midday Supervisor You Will Need
- to be good at communicating and listening
- have a positive attitude and zest for life
- know how to build relationships with the children and the rest of the team
- have a toolkit full of playground games and activities to keep children engaged
- to be ready to teach children good manners and help them with their lunch

The above responsibilities are subject to the general duties and responsibilities contained in the Statement of Conditions of Employment. The duties of this post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the post or level of responsibility entailed.
The person undertaking this role is expected to work within the policies, ethos and aims of the Trust and to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Line Manager. The post holder will be expected to have an agreed flexible working pattern to ensure that all relevant functions are fulfilled through direct dialogue with employees, contractors and community members.
English Duty
The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
