Lunchtime Supervisor
Salary: £25,185 pro rata (pay award pending)
Actual Salary: £3,580 (pay award pending)
Scale: Grade 2
Hours: 6 hours and 15 minutes per week (12.00pm – 1.15pm Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent, Term-Time Only (38 weeks p.a.)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Set in the delightful village of Colwich, we are a small, friendly and welcoming Church of England primary school where children are at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and the positive relationships between pupils and staff. We are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive lunchtime team.
About The Role
Lunchtime is an important part of the school day. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to:
- Supervise and support pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and on the playground
- Help create a calm, safe and inclusive lunchtime environment where all children feel supported
- Encourage positive behaviour, cooperation and respectful play
- Support children with a range of needs, including those who may require extra reassurance or guidance
- Assist with first aid where required

- Enjoy working with children and understand the importance of positive relationships
- Be patient, caring and calm, particularly when supporting children with additional or individual needs
- Work well as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a shared approach
- Be reliable, flexible and willing to take responsibility
- Share and promote the Christian values and ethos of the school
