Lunchtime Supervisor
Hours – 7.5 hours per week
Duration – 38 weeks per year
Position Type – Permanent
Grade – C3, £25,614 FTE, £4,355.91 actual per annum

About Us
Newborough Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of Newborough. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. The school prides itself on its inclusive nurturing approach and strives to ensure that all pupils thrive and have a brilliant start to their education! Standards are high at Newborough where children are keen to learn but welfare and nurture is paramount in allowing this to happen. Visitors comment on the school’s ethos of nurture and the ‘family feel’ of the school. Our children tell us that this is a fantastic place to be!
Newborough CofE Primary School is a welcoming, single-form entry school that joined the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) in December 2024. This partnership has opened up exciting opportunities for staff development and career progression through research-informed practice and extensive CPD programs.

- Can provide a safe environment for children, to assist across the lunchtime period, including problem solving of wet weather provisions and dealing with first aid incidents
- Can show initiative and creativity in different learning situations

Newborough is a proud member of PDET, alongside 35 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
