About This Role

St John’s Church of England Primary School

Post Title: Lunchtime Supervisor / Midday Assistant

Responsible to: Headteacher

Location: St John’s Church of England Primary School

Hours of Work: 1 hour 30 minutes per day (12:00 – 1:30 p.m.), Monday to Friday, term time only

Job Purpose

To supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, welfare and good behaviour, both in the dining hall and in the playground. The post holder will contribute to the smooth running of lunchtime arrangements, promote positive play, and uphold the school’s Christian ethos and values in all interactions with pupils and staff.
