Grade B, SCP 3: £13.28 per hour
Available Hours:
- Primary Phase: 12:00pm to 1:00pm
- Secondary Phase: 1:20pm to 2:10pm
- Full Lunch Session: 12:00pm to 2:10pm
38 weeks per annum (term-time only)
Aylesford School is seeking to recruit enthusiastic and conscientious Lunchtime Supervisors to support pupils and students during the lunchtime period across both our Primary and Secondary phases.
We have a number of vacancies available and can offer flexibility to suit applicants' availability. Opportunities are available for those wishing to work:
- Primary phase only
- Secondary phase only
- The full lunch period across both phases

Positions are available for between one and five days per week, depending on candidate availability and school requirements.
The role involves supervising children and young people during their lunch break, helping to ensure a safe, positive and enjoyable environment. Duties may include supervising pupils in dining areas, playgrounds, social spaces and circulation areas, supporting positive behaviour and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils.
All staff are expected to work alongside the teaching staff and wider school team as positive role models, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, teamwork, collaboration and respect.

When completing the application form, please clearly state:
- Whether you wish to work in the Primary Phase, Secondary Phase, or both phases (full lunch period).
- The days of the week you are available to work.
- The number of lunchtime sessions you would ideally like to work each week (between 1 and 5 days).
All successful applicants will be required to provide details of two satisfactory referees and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and other pre-employment safeguarding checks.
