Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant
Grade 1 SCP 3 - £13.28 per hour
5 Hours per week
Monday-Friday 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm
Term Time Only
Permanent
Required Start Date: 02/11/2026
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated person to join our dedicated team.
The duties of a Lunchtime Supervisor involve the safe supervision of pupils during the lunch period.
The ideal qualities we are looking for are reliability, enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of young children.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Duties would normally include the following:
- Support for Pupils
- Supervise pupils on the playground or in the classroom when the weather is inclement.
- Report to the head teacher or class teacher on duty any incidents:
- Where pupils have acted in a manner deemed to be a danger to themselves and others
- Where pupils have acted in an inconsiderate or discourteous manner
- Where pupils have disobeyed the school rules
- Report any accidents and request assistance from the school’s first aider as required

Hours: 5 hours per week, term time only
There is an expectation that no holidays or leave of absence can be taken during term time.
