Scale One

6.25 hours per week, term time only.

Temporary for one year initially

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint two excellent lunchtime supervisory assistants to join our team to start as soon as possible. They will be required to work 6.25 hours per week, during term time only. Initially, we are only able to offer one year (until the end of the academic year in July 2027) due to funding, however we are hoping this will be extended for a longer period of time.

We are looking for lunchtime supervisory assistants with outstanding potential, who are great team players and will embrace St George’s distinctive and Christian ethos. We can offer you enthusiastic, well-behaved, and friendly children as well as a great team of staff. For more information, please refer to the attached Job Description and Personal Specification.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
