Lunchtime Teaching Assistant
Location: Kidbrooke
Essential Information
- Salary: Up to £14 per hour
- Bonus: Opportunity to earn a performance-related bonus
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:15 am – 2:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children during mealtimes, encouraging independence and healthy eating habits
- Create a calm, nurturing environment for lunch and transition times
- Supervise children both indoors and outdoors
- Address children’s emotional needs and wellbeing
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold daily routines
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and safety

What We’re Looking For
No prior nursery experience is required—training is provided. We value:
- A genuine interest in working with children
- Friendliness, patience, and a supportive attitude
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a team
- A reliability and motivation to learn
- Experience with children (paid, voluntary, or informal) is a plus
- Desired: Basic understanding of child development or early years education
Most importantly: kindness, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
